I knew replacing the sealant around the bath in an attempt to freshen up the bathroom would be a bad idea....
I think I've more or less made good the damage I inflicted.
Not sure it looks any better than it did before I started though.

Yes I sympathise . Applying silicone sealant is a job which looks straightforward till you try it yourself. It blobs and stops and blobs some more. Ugh ! Last time we had to admit defeat and paid someone to do it properly !
I used the "washing-up liquid on finger" technique to smooth it out after it had splodged everywhere but it was still very messy :-(
The good news is that, however amateurish it looks, it still looks better than the faded, mould-covered sealant that was there before!
