Absolute piffle. A digital camera is as good as it always was. This is a simple case of having to have the latest.

My D60 is now 5 years old and still doing its job. Despite having been superceded about 5 times over now.

Still will be getting the 1DSmkII, but that is a different level of camera altogether. nd I will still keep the D60.
