Bendy Buses

John Palmer asks why London is making a switch to single-decker "bendy buses". I've added my thoughts to his post. Does anyone know the real reason?

Ahhh yes..... sell the buses at a loss and make it back on fire extinguishers?

I think its because the increased number of doors allow passengers to get on and off faster, which in theory improves travel times.

Or something.
